For your peace of mind we have simplified the roof repair process and have introduced a fixed price system so there are no nasty suprises when you get the final bill. We understant the biggest concerns customers have when employing a contractor to carry out any maintenance on their property is that the work will be below standard or the cost will be excessive or in some cases both of these problems occur.

As accredited members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors and the Competentroofer scheme you are assured that any work carried out by will be of the highest standard so that just leaves the issue of cost to address. We work on a simple hourly rate system when pricing roof repairs, we charge £75+VAT for call out and the first hour and typically most small problems like a slipped tile or a blocked gutter will be remedied within that hour. If after the first hour the problem is more complex we will either agree extra hours with you at a rate of £50+VAT per hour and complete the work that day or we will supply you with a fully written quotation for carrying out the works which is valid for one month and a credit of £75+VAT will be applied if you instruct us to carry out the work within that month.

How does it Work?

1. You call our office on 01376 555190 or email donna@igloo-eco.com with details of the problem.

2. We book a time and date for our repair team to attend site convenient to you. A £75+VAT fee is taken by credit card during the booking process.

3. Our repair team operative will assess the problem and formulate an action plan, most repairs are carried out there and then.

4. If the repair is not remedied within the hour our operative will inform you of an approximate time they estimate it will take and you decide whether to proceed or not. 

5. If you proceed our operative will complete the repair and an invoice for the remainder of the fee will be sent to you for payment within 7 days.

6. Any repair requiring scaffolding or additional plant or materials not carried by the repair team will be quoted for when our operative arrives at site and your £75+VAT call out fee will be credited towards the quoted works.

Please note the £75+VAT call out charge is non refundable if the repair cannot be completed within the hour. We endeavour to complete all repairs in the shortest possible time but some repairs are more complex and will require more time. Additional hours are charged at £50+VAT per hour, materials are charged at cost and any time spent picking up materials will be charged on the hourly rate. Scaffolding or additional plant will be charged at cost. Any job more than 10 miles from our office will incur an additional charge of £1 per mile.
